The UAE has once again proven why it’s at the forefront of global digital transformation, achieving top positions across multiple international rankings for connectivity, smart services, and AI adoption.

According to the United Nations E-Government Survey 2024, the UAE secured the #1 global spot in the Telecommunications Infrastructure Index with a perfect 100% score — a testament to the country’s advanced and reliable digital networks.

In mobile internet performance, the UAE maintained its world-leading position in the Speedtest Global Index from July 2024 to June 2025, clocking an average download speed of 546.14 Mbps in June — far ahead of other nations.

The country’s smart city ambitions also received global recognition. In the IMD Smart City Index 2025, Dubai ranked 4th worldwide, and Abu Dhabi followed closely at 5th, reflecting significant improvements in urban infrastructure, digital services, and overall quality of life.
