UAE and Google Launch “AI for All” to Build National AI Skills
In a major national initiative, the UAE Government has partnered with Google to launch “AI for All”, a program designed to teach people of all ages and professions the fundamentals of artificial intelligence. The initiative was announced during UAE Coding Day 2025 and will run through 2026, offering free AI workshops and online courses across the country.
Participants will learn practical AI skills such as writing prompts, using AI for productivity and creativity, and ensuring safe, responsible use of technology. The program also supports small and medium-sized enterprises by showing how AI can drive efficiency and growth. With Google’s Gemini models integrated into the curriculum, the UAE continues its journey toward becoming a global hub for digital innovation and AI literacy.

UAE Takes Global Lead in AI-Driven Energy Transformation
The UAE is emerging as a global leader in using artificial intelligence to reshape how the world produces and consumes energy. Backed by Adnoc’s partnerships with Microsoft, AIQ, and other tech leaders, the nation is driving the integration of AI across the energy sector to boost efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. The Powering Possible 2025 report by Adnoc and Microsoft found that 88 percent of global energy and technology leaders see AI as essential to achieving energy transformation, reinforcing the UAE’s forward-looking strategy.
Adnoc’s own transformation highlights this progress, with AI systems now optimizing everything from predictive maintenance to grid operations. Its ENERGY ai platform, developed with AIQ, G42, and Microsoft, is automating complex tasks like emissions forecasting and seismic analysis. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Adnoc CEO and UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, said the energy sector has moved from exploring AI’s potential to actively delivering results, urging global collaboration to accelerate the transition.
| This week’s developments remind us that AI is no longer just a tool for specialists. It is becoming part of everyday creativity, work, and learning. Whether you are a designer using Canva’s new AI tools or a student joining the UAE’s “AI for All” program, the message is clear: the future belongs to those who learn, adapt, and innovate. |
