OpenAI Launches “Atlas” Browser to Compete with Google Chrome
OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Atlas, a groundbreaking AI-powered web browser designed to make online experiences smarter and more intuitive. Atlas integrates ChatGPT directly into browsing, allowing users to summarize content, compare products, and analyze data from any website.

Abu Dhabi and Deloitte Partner to Build the World’s First AI-Native Government
Abu Dhabi is partnering with Deloitte to achieve its vision of becoming the world’s first AI-native government. The collaboration with the Department of Government Enablement focuses on improving public services using AI, data, and cloud technologies.
The initiative includes the Data Enablement Program, which enhances data quality and governance across government entities, paving the way for scalable AI solutions. Deloitte is also supporting Abu Dhabi with digital transformation projects like Government Resource Planning (GRP) and ServiceNow to improve efficiency and citizen experience.

Kuwait Hosts the Gulf’s First AI Conference for Humanitarian Innovation
Kuwait made history by hosting the first Gulf Red Crescent Artificial Intelligence Conference, under the theme “Towards New Horizons in Humanitarian Work and Development Media.” The event gathered Gulf leaders and experts to explore how AI can enhance humanitarian response and cooperation.
Speakers emphasized using AI to predict disasters, manage aid, and reconnect families, while preserving humanitarian values. The conference highlighted Kuwait’s leadership in merging innovation with compassion and its commitment to Gulf-wide cooperation in the humanitarian field.

MBZUAI Launches “Build It Demo Day” to Empower AI Entrepreneurs
The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) has launched Build It Demo Day, a new platform for innovators to showcase real AI solutions. The event will take place on October 30, 2025, at Masdar City Park, featuring live demonstrations instead of traditional pitches.
Participants will receive access to global tech partners and over $200,000 in technical credits from companies such as NVIDIA, OpenAI, Microsoft, AWS, and ElevenLabs. MBZUAI’s entrepreneurship programs have already helped launch 14 AI startups and mentored hundreds of innovators across the UAE.
