Saudi Arabia’s New AI Data Center
Nvidia and xAI confirmed that a new Saudi data facility with about 600,000 Nvidia GPUs will take Elon Musk’s xAI as its first customer. The project is led by Humain, a Public Investment Fund backed company that aims to expand national scale AI infrastructure with support from Nvidia, AMD and Qualcomm. This move reinforces the Gulf’s growing position in sovereign AI development.

UAE and South Korea Join Forces
South Korea will work with the UAE on the Stargate initiative to build one of the world’s largest AI data center campuses. The first 1 gigawatt phase is led by G42 with partners OpenAI, Oracle, Nvidia, Cisco and SoftBank. South Korea will contribute computing capacity, memory chips and energy systems as both nations deepen cooperation across AI investment and research.
