We’re excited to announce the launch of AI for GCC, a weekly newsletter that makes sense of how artificial intelligence is transforming business, innovation, policy, and everyday life across the Gulf region.

Dubai’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) is now taking applications for the second cycle of its “Future of AI in Government Services Accelerator” — a programme that brings together local and global AI companies to work directly with over 20 government entities. The goal: create smarter, faster, and more accessible public services using AI.

Run in partnership with Dubai Future Accelerators (part of the Dubai Future Foundation), the programme supports the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, which aims to make Dubai the world’s largest hub for AI-powered innovation.

Four Focus Areas

Participants will work on projects in four key areas:

  1. Enhancing existing services with more personalisation and efficiency.

  2. Creating new services to solve challenges once seen as impossible.

  3. Boosting operational efficiency by embedding AI into daily processes.

  4. Making services accessible to everyone by removing barriers.

Why Join?

  • Work with experts and decision-makers to solve real-world problems.

  • Keep full ownership of your solutions (no equity taken).

  • Eight weeks in Dubai with fully covered accommodation and travel.

  • Opportunities for global growth after the programme.

Applications are open until 28 August 2025. Selected teams will be in Dubai from 6 October to 28 November 2025 for an intensive, hands-on experience.

A Track Record of Impact

The first cycle drew 615 AI companies from 55 countries, producing 183 AI use cases, with 75 already piloted. This reflects Dubai’s strong commitment to using AI for better public services and improving quality of life.

Saeed Al Falasi, Executive Director of DCAI, said the programme is designed to put Dubai among the world’s top cities for AI-powered government services — with a focus on speed, quality, and making life easier for everyone.
